Bay Area police seek help in finding 2 girls missing since July

Oakland police are seeking the public’s help in finding two Bay Area girls who have been missing since July.

Angelina Carrillo is 5-foot-7, weighing 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen on the 3900 block of Loma Vista Avenue. It’s not known what she was wearing at the time.

Her last known location was over 100 miles away in Merced.

Oakland police did not elaborate on why she was in Merced or when she was last seen.

Keren Escobar Corea, 12, was last seen on July 5 on the 1700 block of 86th Avenue, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, police said on social media. She is 5-foot-4, with reddish burgundy hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she weighed 115 pounds. She has a tattoo on her left hand, police said.

The girls’ disappearances are not believed to be linked.
