The hit song performed by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars is officially the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams in Spotify history!
The music platform shared the news through an Instagram post on Thursday and called the achievement “legendary behavior.”
In a separate Instagram post, Lady Gaga expressed her gratitude to her fans, Bruno’s fans, and others who listened to the song.
“I will completely cherish this moment. I’m so grateful to monsters and hooligans and so many people all over the world who fell in love with our song I feel so lucky,” she wrote.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars dropped the emotional track in August.
In the music video, Lady Gaga and Bruno donned blue and red vintage Americana-inspired outfits. They performed at a 1950s-style radio station with Bruno on guitar and Lady Gaga on the piano.
Lady Gaga performed at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics in late July. She also starred in Todd Phillips’s “Joker: Folie à Deux” as Harley Quinn.
